so I am now an urban forester for the city. today was my second day. yesterday was all orientation and paper work. i am super excited about the job... i really do think it will be a good fit.
few things i am going to have to get used to:
4:30 am wake up call
riding the metro for my commute
doing work that does not directly involve utilities of some sort
going to bed early
driving in the city and learning my way around
all the new people i will meet
so over all it is very exciting ... now all i have to do is live through the first few weeks of getting used to the sleep schedule and early commute. we all know i have nite owl tendencies, and an affinity for naps.
nothing much else exciting is going on. i think this new job is enough all on its own!
its tuesday and i'm already exhausted!
